Family Only Inc. is a franchisee of Back Yard Burgers, Inc. Back Yard Burgers started as a double-drive thru in Mississippi in 1989 by a former grocery store manager. As the name suggests, the idea was to offer customers freshly prepared, charbroiled food like they might make at home. The concept caught on and today there are more than 170 Back Yard Burgers restaurants in nearly 20 southern and Midwestern states.

We at Family Only Inc. opened our first Back Yard Burgers in Boone, NC in 1992 as a double drive through. Since that time, we have opened two more locations in Hickory, NC.
